James, left, commander of Marine Forces Reserve and Marine Forces North, to be awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with a Gold Star in lieu of 5th award at the Marine Corps Support Facility New Orleans, April 11, 2019. Johnson was awarded the medal for lifesaving actions in the Savannah International Airport when he noticed a man with heart attack symptoms and performed CPR until paramedics arrived.
