A Marine with 3rd Force Reconnaissance Company, 4th Marine Division, fires a M110 semi-automatic sniper system (SASS) during sniper training at Camp Shelby, Mississippi on May 16, 2021. Marines train with the M110 semi-automatic sniper system, an anti-personnel and light material rifle that fires 7.62 mm ammunition, to maintain proficiency in long-range marksmanship.
