U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Thomas Mosiman, a joint terminal attack controller (JTAC) assigned to 6th Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, checks radio equipment during Marine Forces Reserve Tactical Air Control Party Fire Exercise 23-1 at Rattlesnake Range, Camp Shelby, Mississippi, Oct. 27, 2022. JTACs are Marines from ground combat communities who receive specialized training to coordinate and direct close air support.
