U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. The Marines fired the TOW weapon system from a Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV), to familiarize themselves with the safety and firing procedures associated with it. The JLTV is equipped with more highly evolved technology compared to the basic equipment of a High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV). The upgraded vehicle is mechanically reliable, maintainable with onboard diagnostics, all-terrain mobile, and equipped to link into current and future tactical data nets.
