ARCTIC EDGE 2024: MACS-24 Marines employ AN/TPS-80
Marine Air Control Squadron (MACS) 24, Marine Air Control Group 48, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Forces Reserve, deploy a AN/TPS-80 (Ground/Air Task Oriented Radar) in preparation of Exercise Arctic Edge 2024 (AE24) in Fort Greely, Alaska, Feb. 10, 2024. The G/ATOR is a newly developed mobile mid-range system designed to provide task-oriented radar picture and command and control function in support of operations in an arctic environment.
