U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Owen Long greets two children who received presents at June Nelson Elementary School in Kotzebue, Alaska, Dec. 8, 2025. Long is a native of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania and a combat videographer with Communications Strategy and Operations, Marine Forces Reserve. The Marines assigned to Detachment D Company, 4th Law Enforcement Battalion, Force Headquarters Group and the airmen assigned to the 673rd Security Forces Squadron are participating in Operation Polar Knight in support of the Toys for Tots mission reaching remote Alaskan communities.
