At the National Service Rifle Championships, Gunnery Sgt. Justin Skaret, member of the Marine Forces Reserve Rifle Team, is awarded a Secretary of the Navy Trophy Rifle in August by the officer in charge of the Reserve Shooting Teams, Lt. Col. Thomas Reid, for setting a new National Service Record of 449-36x out of 450 in November 2007 at the Long Range Palma Championships in Phoenix.
