Lance Cpl. Nelson Flores of Headquarters and Service Company, 2nd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment uses the Handheld Interagency Identification Detection Equipment to record biometrics information on the inhabitant of a house where his squad found explosive-making materials during a predeployment training exercise here June 26, 2010. Nelson is assisted by an Iraqi interpreter and Iraqi police officer (rear), both role players in the scenario.
