Irivine, Calif. officials including City Manager Sean Joyce, Mayor Sukhee Kang, Police Officer Lt. Col. Thomas Allan, Police Chief David Maggard Jr., Tim Knight, Mya Sanders and Photographer Dan Jung pose for a photo with the Freedom Award. The Freedom Award is given annually to select employers throughout the continental U.S., Guam, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands to qualified employers who show outstanding support to employees who serve in the Reserve and Guard. The Secretary of Defense, Robert Gates, approves the final winners of the Freedom Award.
