Ostrander, defense clerk from the Office of the Staff Judge Advocate, Marine Forces Reserve, tests the cadet here, Oct. 8, 2011, on knowledge of Marine Corp’s customs, courtesies, and history. Some 500 cadets from 15 different schools showed up at the Ponchatoula High School Junior Recruit Officer Training Corps meet to compete against each other in marching, knowledge and physical training.
