Navy MH-60S sits on the USS Wasp docked on the Mississippi riverfront during a fireworks presentation here, April 18, 2012. The fireworks presentation was part of the reception held in honor of the War of 1812 Commemoration. New Orleans will serve as the inaugural city in a three-year national celebration commemorating the War of 1812 and the Star-Spangled Banner. The Marine Corps' role in this event reinforces its naval character, showcases the Navy-Marine Corps team and highlights the military's enduring relationship with the city of New Orleans.
