Reserve Marines conduct 4th Amphibious Assault Vehicle Launch

Reserve Marines with 4th Assault Amphibian Battalion, 4th Marine Division, conducted AAV launch training at Blount Island in Jacksonville, Fla., Aug. 13, 2014. The training focused on ship-to-shore operations and interoperability with the U.S. Navy. The Marines drove the AAVs off the ramp of the back of the USNS SEAY (T-AKR-302), a Maritime Prepositioning Ship, then headed back to shore.
