Reserve Marines conduct 4th Amphibious Assault Vehicle Launch

Reserve Marines from 4th Assault Amphibian Battalion, 4th Marine Division, conducted amphibious training on Blount Island in Jacksonville, Fla., Aug. 13, 2014. The Marines splashed off the back of the USNS SEAY (T-AKR-302), a Maritime Prepositioning Ship, then moved the assault vehicle ashore. The AAVs were then taken to the wash rack where the Marines cleaned and made sure they were still in good working order.
