With approximately 5,000 participating Marines, Soldiers, Airmen and Sailors, Northern Strike is one of the largest reserve component exercises supported by the U.S. military. Mobile Operations Course casualty evacuation
U.S. Marines with Marine Wing Support Squadron 473, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, transport simulated casualties during the mobile operations course at Range 205 during Integrated Training Exercise (ITX) 4-22 at Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, Calif., July 30, 2022. The mobile operations course challenges supporting elements of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force to respond to contact while delivering logistical supplies to other elements of the MAGTF. ITX enables the Reserve Component to simulate a mobilization and deploy its forces in preparation for potential future deployments in the event of a contingency or crisis.
