4th Marine Division will conduct its Annual Rifle Squad Competition to foster warrior spirit through intense competition and determine the top rifle squad within 4th Marine Division. The intent of this competition is to evaluate the tactical proficiency of rifle squads and determine under simulated combat conditions, the Division’s most proficient and capable rifle squad.

Lt. Gen. McMillian attends 49ers practice

Lieutenant General Rex C. McMillian, commander of Marine Forces Reserve and Marine Forces North, poses in front of Levi’s Stadium at the 49ers practice field at Levi’s Stadium, Nov. 4, 2016. McMillian was invited to observe a 49ers’ practice session in preparation for Sunday’s “Salute to Service” game against the New Orleans Saints at Levi’s Stadium. The half-time show of Sunday’s game will recognize the Marine Forces Reserve Centennial. Today, approximately 500 Reserve Marines are providing fully integrated operational support to Fleet and Combatant Commanders around the world.
