Mission Statement: "The mission of CREDO is to deliver faith-centered programs to Sea Service Members and their families that promote Spiritual Readiness, Resilience, and Navy Core Values."

Since 1971, CREDO has offered spiritual, personal, and relational growth opportunities profoundly enhancing the lives and service of participants. CREDO provides commanders with a key resource by which to care for and strengthen their Marines, Sailors, and families and build the home front in lasting skills and tools as human beings to meet the mission. Chaplains Religious Enrichment Development Operation (CREDO) is a program sponsored by the Navy Chief of Chaplains and under Force Order 1738.1A from Commander Marine Forces Reserve/South, executes the Command Religious program through the Force Chaplains Office. US Navy Chaplains and Religious Program Specialists assigned to MARFORRES compile the Religious Ministry Team that handle the roles and responsibilities involved in its execution under the commander's guidance.

CREDO executes its primary mission with providing "retreat" events that focus on differing topics based on the needs of the force and individual.

The following programs listed are available through the CREDO Mission that address and develop the spiritual, non spiritual, and personal development of the force through the growth and leadership tools provided in these events:
