Welcome aboard MC DPC/RSU-E/NMPS CLJ NC!
That especially long acronym stands for Marine Corps Deployment Processing Command/Reserve Support Unit-East/Navy Mobilization Processing Site at Camp Lejeune in eastern North Carolina.
And all of it defines the service provided here to Marines, Sailors, and Civilians who are deploying or redeploying, mobilizing or demobilizing, processing in or out on orders to areas of operation CONUS or OCONUS.
As Command Chaplain I have the privilege of serving with our dedicated staff of both active and reserve components in support of all those who are transitioning through this place for a brief time. Whether counseling on spiritual, service related, relationship/family, or combat/operational stress concerns, I assure you that your care and confidence is very important to me and to this Command.
Base supported faith group activities and worship and a variety of military support agencies are available here as may be desired or needed. Religious materials are available through my office in Command Headquarters in Building 331. Please do call upon me for any questions, needs, concerns or just for conversation and a cup of joe. My hatch is always open.
Most importantly, I assure you that your humanity and spirituality—YOU—are sacred, and my counsel with you will be professional, thoughtful, respectful and confidential.
Thank you for serving our Nation and God bless you.
Godspeed!
