Age 23, Santa Fe, New Mexico LCpl Grant was killed while conducting combat operations in Karabilah, Iraq. He was assigned to Marine Forces Reserve’s 4th Reconnaissance Battalion, 4th Marine Division, Albuquerque, New Mexico. During Operation Iraqi Freedom, his unit was attached to Regimental Combat Team 2, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward). He died on May 11, 2005.
