Norfolk based helicopter squadron gets feet wet in desert
Staff Sgt. The flight was the first flight operation during the two-week exercise and the first time the pilots had flown in a desert environment since last year’s ITX. ITX is the largest Marine Corps Reserve training exercise with more than 4,000 Marines and sailors participating from units across the United States. The exercise focuses on the tactical application of combined-arms during global contingencies.
