Redefining Marksmanship: Reserve Marines conduct new Annual Rifle Qualification
Marines with Combat Marksmanship Coaches Reserve (CMCR) engage targets on the move while conducting the new Annual Rifle Qualification (ARQ) at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, Sept. 21, 2021. The CMCR students are the first to qualify as Combat Marksmanship Coaches under the new ARQ that will soon be implemented across the Marine Corps. Marine Forces Reserve Marines will begin to qualify under the new ARQ in Fiscal Year 22 as the Marine Corps continues to adapt training to increase lethality throughout the Marine Corps, regardless of their Military Occupational Specialty.
