Marines with Anti-Tank Training Company fire TOW Missiles on a JLTV near Fort Smith, Arkansas
U.S. Marines with Anti-Tank Training Company, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve fire a Tube-Launched Optically-Tracked Wire-Guided (TOW) weapon system during a live-fire exercise at Fort Chaffee Joint Maneuver Training Center, Arkansas, March 3, 2023. The Marines fired the TOW weapon system from a Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV), to familiarize themselves with the safety and firing procedures associated with it. The JLTV family of vehicles comes in different variants with multiple mission package configurations, all providing protected, sustained, networked mobility that balances payload, performance, and protection across the full range of military operations. The Marines of today are rapidly pursuing new capabilities and concepts to ensure they remain ready, relevant, and responsive as a capable fighting force in 2030 and beyond.
