Pvt. Marvin A. Rolansky, a World War II Marine veteran and Prisoner of War Medal of Honor recipient, is greeted by Cpl. Jordan L. Rolansky was captured by the Japanese after the fall of Guam on Dec. 9, 1941, and spent four years in a labor camp until his return to U.S. military control in 1945 after the end of the war.
