Marine Forces Reserve Celebrates 241 Years of Service
Lance Cpl. Benjamin T. Kulp, a fiscal clerk with Marine Forces Reserve, carries the Marine Corps Flag through the streets here during a 3-mile motivational formation run, Nov. 9, 2016. Each year, the Marines celebrate the Corps’ birthday with a cake-cutting ceremony followed by a run. Since Nov. 10, 1775, the United States Marine Corps has earned the reputation as the world's most effective expeditionary fighting force - engaging in combat on battlefields across the globe.
