Task force Marines increase unit readiness with small unmanned aircraft system training
An RQ-11B Raven lands during an RQ-11B Raven Operator Course at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, April 27, 2020. Upon landing the RQ-11B Raven would break apart to prevent damaging itself. SPMAGTF-SC Marines participated in the course to test their knowledge and skills when employing a small unmanned aircraft system. Marines and Sailors with SPMAGTF-SC are conducting a variety of pre-deployment training events and qualifications in order to enhance crisis response preparedness. These events assist the Marines and Sailors with providing security cooperation training and engineering projects alongside partner nation military forces in Latin America and the Caribbean.
