The wheat seed is a part of an alternative crop program to wean the people off of poppy cultivation. Banweg is a member of 4th Civil Affairs Group, a Marine Forces Reserve unit headquartered in Washington, D.C. A career reserve Marine, Banweg perated with his team here from November 2009 to May 2010, spearheading key infrastructure development projects.
