Overview

This page is intended to give you, the contractor an idea of what to expect when attending Deployment Processing Command (DPC-W), Camp Talega, Camp Pendleton, California. It covers what you need to do before you report for processing. All companies must schedule at least 2 weeks prior to attending. It is highly encouraged that you contact at the earliest convenience in order to insure you lock-on a date.

What you will need for day one of processing:

  1. Report in time: 0800 BLDG 64382 every Monday excluding holidays. Please contact our office if you plan on sending any contractor during a specific holiday.
  2. Letter of Authorization (LOA). Every contractor must report with a valid LOA in order to insure that they are able to process on time. Failure to report with an LOA may result in being dropped to future date.
  3. CENTCOM Checklist (Ensure that each contractor reporting to DPC has met specified requirements in the CENTCOM checklist). Section 10 and section 11 from the CENTCOM Checklist apply to contractors. Information in this section is mandatory for every contractor in order to be ready for deployment. DPC provides the opportunity to receive an Anthrax shot as well as a Small Pox vaccination. Note: Every contractor must have at least one dose of Anthrax administered at least 30 days prior to attending DPC.

 

Directions to Deployment Processing Command, Camp Talega

 

  1. Heading North: Take I-5 North to exit 73 Cristianitos Rd. Go right. At stop sign you will continue straight which will bring you to the San Mateo Gate. Once through the gate you will stay to the left (there will be a gas station on your left) follow that road until it dead ends into Camp Talega.
  2. Heading South: Take I-5 South to exit 73 Cristianitos Rd. Go Left. At stop sign you will continue straight which will bring you to the San Mateo Gate. Once through the gate you will stay to the left (there will be a gas station on your left) follow that road until it dead ends into Camp Talega.
